Teona Maisuradze

Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Business and Technology and Business Administration Professor at the Georgian National University SEU with 15 years of teaching experience, 6 years of experience in high school administration and 14 years of higher education administration in bachelor’s and master’s studies at various universities in Georgia and abroad. She brings extensive experience in international cooperation, managing various projects within organizations such as DAAD and Horizon. In this project it aims to contribute to the development of Sustainable Development Goal 9.

In addition to his academic career, she has practical experience in managing people and departments, introducing innovations, reorganizing and optimizing structures and employee efficiency in educational institutions. Teona is currently the national contact point in Georgia for Marie Skłodowska Curie Actions (MSCA) under Horizon Europe.

She obtained a bachelor’s degree in international economic relations (2004) and a master’s degree in international economics (2006) from the International University of the Black Sea; Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in law (2006) from Tbilisi State University; Doctorate in Business Administration (2014) from the International University of the Black Sea.

It has successfully integrated internationally recognized language certificate programs into primary and secondary school curricula, created and successfully accredited the Bachelor of Business Administration program, and created and launched a new vision and successfully accredited Master of Business Administration program. Serving as a faculty curriculum developer, Teona successfully leads a group of practitioners and academics to create and accredit new master’s degrees in business analytics and financial technology. The latest project managed by Teona is the creation and development of an executive MBA program unique in Georgia. She has published scientific articles in various journals, participated in various conferences and workshops in the field of human resources management, aspects of corporate culture, labor market and job descriptions, and employee involvement in the work environment.
