Assistant professor at the Department of Business and Economics of Reykjavik University. Prior to joining RU she worked as a director in a rental housing firm for a number of years alongside work as a lecturer at Bifröst University. At Bifröst she taught a number of courses in HRM, organizational psychology, research methods and well-being at the Department of Business. Thora has extensive HR consulting experience having worked with private and public enterprises of different sizes and in different industries.
Her research interests are in the field of organizational psychology, management and HR and include emotions in the workplace, flexible work arrangements, leadership and well-being at work. Thora gained her PhD in the field of management from Cranfield University in 2018.
